The quality of security and disciplinary services of police in Iran are in consideration of Supreme Leader, elites, and all people in the society. Due to the importance of the issue, the question and the main object of this study is what the proper theoretical model of assessment in Traffic Police service quality is. In this descriptive-adaptive research, different models of service quality management in literature of the related researches were defined. Then the methods of the quality of service using in Traffic Police of Iran were also detected. Quality of service in police, based on the statements of Supreme Leader was measured, and then it was compared to the models of service quality assessment and analyzed. Then the nearest model to police needs, as a suitable theoretical model for the assessment of the service quality in Traffic Police was offered. There are different models for measuring the quality of service. For example, SERVQUAL as a model to measure and assess the quality of service in industry, business, service and culture have been used in different countries such as USA, China, Australia, Cyprus, Hong Kong, South Korea, South Africa, Holland, United Arab Emirates, and United Kingdom. Despite being different models for measuring quality of service, some of them didn’t have the necessary comprehensiveness for assessing. We have also some other cases measuring Traffic Police and NAJA actions which take place in order to improve the services, but they don’t have the integrity and necessary comprehensiveness and do not follow a particular model. According to the description and conformity of models of service quality, SERVQUAL potentially has the necessary comprehensiveness and efficiency to assess the quality of the service in different sectors.
