Purpose and background: This article looking for analysis of approaches and reengineering strategies processes and provide a comprehensive model for re-engineering organizational processes in the Iran police. Therefore, research according to the Iran police process re-engineering model, in terms of research target is developmental-applicable and in terms of data collection is a mixed method (quantitative-qualitative). Method: In order to achieve the objectives of the study, after reviewing the theoretical foundations a comprehensive analysis methodologies in the literature and writing environment with an emphasis on managing organizational processes of Iranian police, the proposed framework research was prepared to adapt the model to the environment, conditions and other characteristics of the organization. Then, we design a questionnaire in order to test and measurement the presented model and distribute it between 50 experts, managers and senior experts of the Iran police headquarters. Verification of the questionnaire carried out by using validity content and the reliability of the method Checked by logical consistency between questions throught calculating Cronbach’s alpha test and result showed 87%, which indicates the efficiency of research tool. Results and Conclusion: Improvement measures such as cooperation and solidarity action, legality, agility, integrity, continuous improvement of efficiency, specialization, comprehensive development of human capital, promoting the adequacy and appropriateness of human resources of Iran police in accordance with present and future demands, science and technology development, taking advantage of existing functionality and police interaction with people could be a result-oriented process, is instead of a pivotal task for Iran police service. Eventually, was obtained the proposed model process re-engineering in the police the main steps (6 steps) and sub-steps (25 steps). In this way, the proposed model for Iran police reengineering processes was confirmed with the adjustments in a number of steps. |
