Background and Objectives: Capability-based strategies in law enforcement, if based on the organizational success approach and based on qualitative research methods and knowledge generation, can be a more operational framework for promoting this organization. This research is a design of a capability-oriented strategies model with organizational success approach in Golestan Provincial Police Command. Method: The present study, in terms of the result, is a component of applied research, in terms of the purpose is an exploratory research, and in terms of the method of performing the work, is qualitative. In this research, through field analysis and interviewing, the necessary data were collected and open, selective and axial coding was performed and a capability-oriented strategy model was designed. The statistical population of the study consisted of two parts of Golestan Provincial Police Chiefs Officers and Management Specialists with different tendencies. 19 of them were interviewed openly. The reason for the use of 19 people was to reach the theoretical saturation point in Interview N= 15, which again resulted in 4 other interviews, so that the researcher, in terms of codifying conceptual codes, would have a clear understanding of the purpose of the research. Results: After the open coding, 113 codes were created. At the central coding stage, three main themes of dynamic strategies, individual development strategies and knowledge development strategies were created. Finally, in the selective coding stage, 11 strategies were identified in the form of 3 main themes. . Results: The results of the research showed that organizational capability-oriented strategies could be classified into three distinct categories of dynamic strategies, individual development strategies, and knowledge development strategies. |
