Scipe and purpose: Knowledge is the Moving motor of science – based wisdom and taking into consideration plays a crucial role in growth as well as promoting the organizations’ profitability. Jenks (2007) defines the concept of IT for managing the knowledge system calling the system of Information and telecommunication technology. Such a system consists of activities such as creating, making, identifying, grabbing, discovering, selecting, valuation, organizing, attachment, formulizing, Imaging, prevalence, maintaining, caring, purifying, availability, and searching.(Fadaee, et al 1390:559).Nowadays, the problems facing intelligence organizations not only has been changed naturally, but also it has been gotten more complicated. The biggest challenge for intelligence society and armed forces is globalization and progress in IT. Thus, it seems applying the the IT devices and local intelligence system which is a base for long term efficiency of intelligence organizations have not been used comprehensively by knowledge managers of these organizations. In future, those organizations would progress that regard technology, creativity, ideology and knowledge management. Knowledge based organizations use IT as a moving motor and effective factor to cope with challenges and promoting profitability. Therefore they are to mix information with information technology and creative abilities. Geographical intelligence system is a new technology which provides the possibility of collection and distributing the information and knowledge. The main aim of this study is identifying the role of IT in knowledge management system in order to promoting the profitability and cohesion in intelligence society. Methodology: such study is a qualitative – analytic method referring to evidences and documents. Results and findings: This research in addition to determining the conceptual scope of knowledge management, explains the role of IT and geographical intelligence systems in promoting intelligence society profitability. |
